The only thing that I have been satisfied with at LF is the academics. The professors I have had have all been very intelligent, personable people. However, it makes me cringe how many students are throwing away their parents 38,000 a year, taking nothing about their classes seriously, and bullshitting their way through the semesters. The core of LF's culture are the sports teams (which are only OK) and the people who follow them and get drunk with them afterwards. The dorms are in dire need of renovation, the set up of them makes it hard to meet people and isolates you. I have felt no sense of community at LF. At the beginning of the year everyone was open and friendly, but soon formed cliques that have not changed since then. The town is just as bad. Many of the residents behave snottily towards the college students, making you feel like you don't belong there. LF means well, but it will probably always be a pretentious school for pretentious, spoiled kids.
