 Sorry to hear about your bad experience, but calm down about the weather - yeah, it gets bad like most flat-landed, Midwest areas but there was not still snow on campus during Spring 2007. Plus, last year was the biggest snowstorm BG had seen in decades. Keep it all in perspective. |

This is my second year in the aviation program at Bowling Green and my last. I will be transferring after this semester. I have to say that the aviation program here was a big disappointment. I got better instruction at my local airport and will be finishing my flight training at one The flight training here is a big waste of money, and the instructors only care about building hours and have no idea how to teach. All the other courses are pretty pathetic as well, mostly busy work and silly online quizes. The social life could definitely be improved. There's not much to do outside of going to the bars, so if that's your thing you may enjoy that. Most students seem to come from the preppy Greek life type mold, and that gets old fast. Oh and the weather. Unless you like snow that's piled higher than your height and wind that rivals hurricanes, you don't want to come here. I think we still had snow in April last year. The dorms of course only make winter that much worse since the snow will come right through your closed windows. Overall I have to say that the last year of my life has been a big waste of time, and I can't wait to get away from here.
