At the time I went to LSUA it was a 2 year university. The place was nicknamed "Little Harvard" back then and still enjoys the nickname to this day. It is now a four year university with some very good faculty. Overall faculty is stable with little turnover. I was glad I could go there for some of my education. My disappointment was having to leave to transfer somewhere else to finish my degree, but that has since changed for the better. The school is definitely on its way up. Both of my children have also taken classes there and the experience has been good. I would recommend the place to anyone. It gave me a very solid background to succeed at other universities all the way thorugh to a doctorate program. When I look back, LSUA played a significant role in providing me the educational foundation for my other academic endeavors and successes.
