Mills provided a one-of-a-kind environment full of vibrant women, committed faculty, and an atmosphere of high achievement, for me. Many friends report far less support from peers and faculty.

Mills was also fabulously expensive, not at all connected to the real world, and often reflected a held-memory of a long-gone era when college women were likely to grow up to be doctor's wives and junior league volunteer leaders.
