I love Marymount. The Faculty is inspirational, the location is gorgeous, and the overall atmosphere is pretty laid back. For those who speak negatively about Marymount I understand where they are coming from, but at the same time Marymount is what you make it. I didn't decide to attend Marymount for a social life or raging parties, I go here to learn. I've had some of the best classes and teachers that I've ever had. Dr. Macmahon, Dr. Zanca, Professor Anderson, and Joe Cuseo have helped to expand my ways of thinking. In between classes I usually lay out in the sun on the grass or pay a visit to the rose garden and relax. The cafe has good food, it has a lot of options to the point where you will never go hungry. The student center is complete with pool tables, big comfy couches, and a flat screen tv. I'm not going to lie and say that the students aren't snobby, because many of them are. The positive aspect to that, however, is the fact that the non-snobby students tend to stick out and are easy to find. Marymount is what you make it, if you want mind blowing educational experiences, you will find them (ratemyprofessor.com helps), if you want the right group of friends they are there for you to find, and if you want to transfer to another school after the two years at Marymount the advisor's that you are assigned practically hold your hand through the whole process to ensure your acceptance into the right school.
