Major: Art & Design Department (This Major's Salary over time)
If you can go anywhere else, but you go to City, you will regret it, certainly if you go for a graduate program. I went to CCNY (CUNY) for a graduate program in Museum Studies/Art History (there are only 2 of these in NYC, the other being the very high-end NYU Institute of Fine Arts. CUNY's program should be titled b/c that's all it was about. The Art History is pathetic, most instructors are not PhDs and and barely speak English. This program was huge waste of time, and I kept thinking it would get better until the end. It didn't.The school overall is a filthy, disintegrating dump, and this condition is reflected in the attitudes of all who work there.
