Major: Other (This Major's Salary over time)
I'm an aviation major and if you are coming for that, steer clear! Not kidding…1) Decent fleet, 172's are in good shape but they have no single-engine high performance aircraft. Cutlasses 172RG's used for commercial training and CFI transition are death traps… The school also has two Duchesses for twin engien training that are quickly falling apart with no real plan in place to replace them. One will soon be salvaged to keep the other flying. 2)Poor faculty with no real world experience with few exceptions.3)You may sometimes find yourself not getting a flight instructor until a month or two into the semester, then still expected to complete the flight course.4)Airport administrators care more that you know they're 'smarter than you' than you succeeding.UCM as a whole I think has a lot of potential but is very very poorly managed, the aviation department being a prime example. This school obviously cares more about your money than your education. Warrensburg as a whole is a dump with nothing to do and everyone goes home on the weekend. As far as food if you like Applebees and fast food this place is right up your alley…For aviation this school is a joke, I'm transferring at the end of the year.
