LICHSON- Long Island College Hospital School of NursingThe school used to have wonderful team and faculty. I have friends who graduated from there and are studying now. However couple years ago there were a lot of executive level and faculty changes which converted the school into a chaos. The administrative staff and faculty are absolutely unprofessional and unhelpful. Most of the faculty don't have adequate experience, degree level or teaching skills. They help their favorites and others can't even approach with questions. The reviews are absolutely unhelpful, there is also a lot of confusion with books and chapters. They can tell you a wrong chapter to read and next day they will give you a quiz on something that was never given in lecture, nor present in books. Administrative staff is very arrogant and unprofessional in their fields, especially in admission and financial aid. They can loose your check or forget to send you a bill. Cursing and sexual jokes are usual thing from excutives and staff. The place itself is dirty, small and does not look like a school at all. Students don't have a place to eat or wait for the next class. The bathrooms are often clogged, nobody cares to clean. No computer lab is available. Students who need prerequisites take them at St. Francis which is a decent school, but everything at LICHSON is terrible.
