A school is only as good as the administration. If those at the top bring out the best in people, it will be a good place, if not everyone will be under a cloud of oppression. It starts at the top. This school needs to have the resources of any liberal arts program. When the people at the top don't get this, the student focus will be too narrow. Look to your administration. Do they foster positive thinking? Do they foster an academic and liberal approach? |

Major: Other (This Major's Salary over time)
When I signed up for the game design and development at the school I was told the course was 50/50 3d modeling and programming. Personally I love programming and do not really care for 3d modeling but I could tell my opinion was the minority there. My entire time spent there I was only offered one of the programming classes which was taught by a teacher that would not even turn a computer on. The only 3d modeling class that I took was taught by a teacher who was not very good at teaching and mainly did the work for you instead of help you learn to do it. Then finally the school without any warning comes out and tells everyone in my program that they where going to completely cut the programming out and add more 3d modeling classes. On top of all that most of their credits do not transfer well to other colleges. So in short of you enjoy art and want to take a pretty easy college then go ahead and go to iadt. The staff is friendly and so are the students but the courses are too easy and may change without warning.
