Major: Interior Design (This Major's Salary over time)
ISU may be in shakey shape, but the interior design program is dying. They have made it so that to graduate our internship has to be paid, under a top design firm that's NCIDQ certified. None of us are finding internships, now wondering how we are going to graduate. (My dad is fixing to go talk to the university about this! Not a single graduate of the program last spring has gotten a job. Several girls are graduating next month, and don't have even any leads. There is nothing out there. The faculty do not care, most of them don't hold class half the time and are totally absorbed in their own work. If things keep going like this we are not going to have a program. My recommendation, if you're going to study interior design, you really need to think about the job market and get a double major in something more practical and in demand.
