First of all, let me start by saying I never intended on coming here. I had a full scholarship to an art school in California, but after careful consideration to economic stands, I decided against it. Farmingdale accepted me last minute.
I am transferring to Cornell this coming fall. I took all my prerequisites here.
First of, this school is very easy to get into. All you have to do is fill out the Suny app. Although I do hear the nursing program here is very lucrative. Anyways, getting in shouldn't be a problem, whoever you are :)

The social life here is dull if you like drinking and all that other nonsense. I have met some really nice people here, though. you just have to be open and willing to talk to people; which some people have problems with. Most of the people I've met were in my department major.
Second, as far as the classwork goes, it is not difficult. my Psychology class was extremely easy. All of my exams were curved, and I even got extra credit for signing on to angel(You'll know what this is if you come/go here) once a week! There were so many extra credit opportunities. Yet, so many people did poorly in the class.
All in all, I don't regret coming here. I know what I want to do with my life after having taken some classes. Plus, I have a 4.0gpa that looks great on my transcript.
So if you plan on coming here, just focus on your work. If your coming here to decide on what you want to study, this place isn't so bad. You van prob. pull of a 4.0. Anyways, good luck to ya ;)
