Actually had a professor (Gappa) walk out halfway thru the semester. Our class received an email one morning saying that our teacher was out sick and class was canceled for the day. Then it was canceled a second time that week. Then, the third time, we all showed up and were told to go home because he was still not there. The next class date, we had a sub. Then later, we learned that our teacher had quit. We played catch-up the rest of the semester. Thank goodness we got a good teacher in Gappa's place (G. Jones).

I called a week before fall classes began to drop one class and get into another - same course, different teacher. The online system wouldn't allow me to do it, so I had to call the college. I could NOT get a live person on the phone. I finally called the records dept. and they dropped my class for me - and then added me back into the SAME CLASS! Uh, HELLO?! After I tried to explain the error to her three times (seriously), she got so confused she handed me over to someone else. No warning, I just got a new voice on the line. I had to start all over with my explanation, and was told "Why didn't you just do this yourself online?" and then "You seem awfully mad at us." Well, yeah, I just had to spent ten minutes trying to get through, then I get an empty-headed puffalump on the phone who has no idea what the hell she is doing. Then I was condescendingly questioned about why I didn't "just do it myself online" like I am some sort of idiot for not thinking of that.

Does anyone at this college have an IQ over 50?
