I applied to Tampa Tech on a Government Pell Grant, due to the fact I was unable to get funding. During my time there the Teachers had no knowledge of their training or were never in the field. The teachers were fellow students and had no on the job training. Since I have applied for a Pell Grant to go there, now I am being told after 12 years that I am at fault for a Student loan that was made in my name, funny because I was not approved and now the Florida Board of Education wants the money back that Tampa Tech took from the lenders and for me to pay it. No wonder why the FBI raided the campus, the loan officers were getting kick backs for getting student enrolled and financed. And now I am to pay that back for their mistakes. That school was a joke as far as Education and never gave what it said it would to the student. Now it is run by another Institute and change the name of the school when it closed down. If your in the same boat as me and I know there are others, contact the Attorney General and let them know that they took you too.
