I transferred to JWU from another university and must say that that was one of the worst decisions I've ever made. There is a handful of faculty at JWU who are outstanding. More than less of the faculty I encountered wouldn't return emails and would give me the "run-around" when I approached them with inquiries. The job placement program post graduation is non-existent. They give you a website to log into. They do have career fairs which are great, but if you're not planning to stay in Colorado, they're pointless for you to attend. I encountered several situations where faculty got away with unfair grading practices, and it was difficult to schedule classes every trimester. JWU is not a university that is progressive whatsoever; it is stagnant. If you want a liberal-minded university that is cutting edge, JWU is not it. Very few students I met were genuine. Most people are arrogant, close-minded, and quite rude honestly. This is not what I expected from a small university! If you are considering JWU, I HIGHLY recommend you look elsewhere. It was an overall very disappointing experience.
