If you want a liberal arts college, choose Salem. If you are an independent thinker, self-motivated and desire the freedom to have tremendous input into how and what you learn. If you want your education to translate into a fulfilling career, choose Salem. If looking for a party, go to Appalachia State. If you are looking for a rich husband, go to Wake Forest. If you are athletic, Salem is not for you. There are some Salem students that may be socialites, if you don't like them you shouldn't be concerned. They probably won't take notice of you, so just ignore them. They will never be helpful to you in your future career unless you need tips on planning a dinner party.
