Communications major at ISU is a blow off and doesn't provide preparation for real work in a communications job. Faculty cancel classes and the learning bar is low. You can do well grade-wise without even going to many classes. The work is not challenging! Two good profs left, now the department is still floundering. Students are fine & many want to learn; there just isn't the teaching/leadership needed here. I recommend going elsewhere if you are a serious communications major!!!!
