Major: Chemical Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
Well, south has some bright side and dark side, education wise talking about my major (Chemical Engineering) the department here is so good, professors/faculty are very helpful and respectful, and simply if you study and do your homework with (understanding) you will be able to make some good grades, professors usually scale up at the end of the semester if needed except for a few courses, the department here is kinda small, so you get a better attention. In general I would recommend that you take the general classes at a community college, its cheaper and easer I think! Students have different opinions about the general classes, calc, chemistry, physics..etc. I cannot tell you much about it since i have not taken any of those classes here, however if you decide to come here as a freshman you should know whom you are taking those classes with, don't just pick a random name (it makes a big difference). Finally, it could be true that you sometimes feel like you are treated like a number or a dollar bill, so don't be surprised.
