As far as health programs are concerned, UAA appears to be following suit with other degree factory colleges and flooding the market. Many of last years graduating class still don't have jobs. If given the option don't go to UAA unless it's for Med Lab tech or Dental, otherwise, leave state, where the programs are much better.My personal experience at UAA was negative, very condescending teacher. When clinical time came around they weren't helpful at all, made almost 0 effort to keep track of students in facilities, and offered 0 support for any problems that arose, except disciplining or blaming students. Many of the facilities have a negative attitude toward students from UAA, whereas if you're coming from Oregon or Washington, it's not so bad.
