Wells used to be an elite college, but now they will take anyone who can pay the $40,000/yr. tuition. Many students don't have basic writing or math skills and many others have learning disabilities, so the college feels like remedial school. Those with any talent or skills transfer out to go to a real school. Most professors have thrown in the towel and just give As to keep students there and the dollars coming in.
