I am a current student at Thiel College. While there are some good things, there are much more negatives about this school. I was recruited to Thiel for football on lies. I was promised free laundry and a free new laptop during my senior year here just to name a few. All of these promises have been broken. The administartion has been terrible from residence life all the way to the president. Current students are treated terrible while high school seniors and freshmen are treated amazing with decent dorms while the upper classmen live in run down dorms and houses. The administration doesn't care about student concerns. All they care about is bringing in new freshmen and getting their money. Some of the only good things about Thiel is student ativities and Greek Life. A good portion of students are involved in Greek Life with myself included. Greek Life also has a higher G.P.A rate than all non-greeks that attend Thiel. Greek Life is one of the only reasons I continue to pour money into this school. DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL!!!! IT IS A WASTE!!!

I got accepted into Thiel on a scholarship so I wanted to know if it's worth $5000 a year? Also I need to live next to a gym so I was wondering what the gym at Thiel is like, how is the equipment, is it always crowded, do they maintain it well? Finally I'm a little concerned going to live in an area that's 97 percent white and in the middle of no where so can anyone tell me what it's like to be a minority in Thiel?
