Major: Accounting (This Major's Salary over time)
Big waste of tuition money. As a non traditional student who already holds a degree, I can say I learned more at community college than I have here. There are senior business students who don't know how to read financial statements and don't know the difference between revenues and profits. Professors have "real world" experience, but when you ask them to do a homework problem or explain something in detail, they usually can't. Classes consist of professors reading power point slides to you but never teaching. I've seen students get caught cheating and still pass-because the professors admit they just want them out of their hair. The problem with that approach is that these people get out in the real world and employers realize they know nothing, and my degree is cheapened because of it. I would not hire a Centenary student, no matter what their grades or references, because I know they never were taught anything useful.
