Major: History/Histories (art history/etc.) (This Major's Salary over time)
Coe college is pathetic, hands down the biggest excuse for a school I have ever experienced in my life. I may only be a freshman but, I like to think I know what I want out a school.Greek Life: Its pathetic, theres one house one the entire campus. It is run by the TKE fraternity, they are a bunch of fat weirdos or division III finest football players. They would have parties and the entire 1400 person campus would flood to their house like the world was ending. I went to a few of their parties at the beginning of the year, but after attending a party and talking to a guy that lived their who pointed out, I kid you not, I decided I would never attend or associate with anyone in TKE again. This has benefited me well because my aspirations after college down involve mowing lawns in rural Iowa.Real quick, Sororities are also pathetic. The forty person sororities that occupy Coe are embarrassing. Their constant Facebook posts of their "Socials" that occur in the cafeteria… It is like being in high school all over again, except this time you have a greek life. Also, their voluntary exclusion from the rest of the student population should be embarrassing, I don't want to be 5 different people my entire college experience.Parties - There are none, Professors - amazing actually, its kinda funny, but I guess they have to be to deal with the 95% of kids who really just don't give a shit about anything. I mean Im a freshmen, I absolutely own discussions in classes filled with upperclassmen, its sad when the senior history major who is sitting next to you tell you he got a C- when you got an A-.Sum Up, Coe is great for low income families and students who don't have a lot of choices when it comes to college. Financial aid is pretty amazing, they'll help you out a lot. If you are from a middle-upper class background, go to iowa… At least when you fail out of college your junior year you really partied at real parties and actually had fun and you didn't have to convoke yourself that your experience was "fun" or "unique"… otherwise you party in someones dorm room in which you have to whisper because "there RA is a dick.".
