I have been attending this college since June 2011 and I will be graduating with my Public Health degree. The advice that I would like to give to people who are reading the negative reviews is to simply take them as the opinion of that individual. I have thoroughly enjoyed going to this school. The school work is very challenging and it is not a place that you can simply slack off at. If you slack off and are absent all the time it does affect your grade.

There are students who are very serious into doing their work and attend every class and are hardly ever absent. Then there are students who are satisfied if they pass with a C average in every class and will miss class for the dumbest of reasons…one I heard was because a girl broke up with her bf.

It is what you make of it and how much work you put into it. A lot of the students keep to themselves because they are there for an education and not for making friends. I have run into some snobby freshman students but you will get that in any college. The majority of the students are very friendly and easy to work with.

The school and teachers are not there to hold your hand you need to take responsibility for your own school work. A lot of freshman are not prepared and they overwhelm themselves during the first semester.
