Mississippi College is a Baptist Christian school, and that is exemplified clearly. Chapel is a required course, as is Old and New Testament. Visiting hours are ridiculous, and when those of the opposite sex are checked into your room, your room is checked by an RA every hour, your feet must be parallel to the floor, lights must be on, and neither of you can be under covers. They are so, so strict about the opposite sex visiting in your dorms or your dorm's lobby. People are very conservative and closed minded, too. Fake sororities and fraternities, called clubs and tribes are offered. They are all very annoying and very strict.
