I am 34. UCSD consists of professors looking to better their careers, ambiance of; "I am too good to teach." …and many don't… just leave it upon T.A.'s (free ride so you work for me) but their quality VARIES to a really large extent. Some professors despite their research actually are pretty damned good at lecture. Before you get your hopes up, there exists a terrible "teacher" for every proficient teacher. I have had people I love and was so grateful to, and other TA's that were fulfilling the "job" and were terrible.It isn't until they have 50% failure rates in ECE/CSE that department heads at UCSD start to pay attention. Very competitive, and you are 90% likely to have your ass handed to you GPA wise. SDSU a party school. UCSD - strong in research. get it. I enjoy the prestige of UCSD, but it is undeserved professor-wise, the image is based upon research-such a fucking farse. I wish i chose cal poly pomona, were floty doty attitudes amongst the staff would not have flown because UCSD GETS MONEY FROM CHINA ON PRESTIGE…IDEALS FOLLOW THE MONEY. Most china kids are beyond nice, I'm just very disappointed in how 50% of professors give BS waste of time lectures (i am not joking…bs worse than the poorest high school in LOS ANGELES quality lectures) , where the time spent in their presence could have been better spent in a book. UCSD has a lot to work on to be held #16. But as long as they get their Chinese influx of cash based upon research… good luck 50/50 getting a professor that gives a crap about how he/she wastes 3 hours a week passing time in lecture. I WILL say NOT ALL STAFF are this way. I appreciate the effort of many that can balance both, research and teaching. But 50% cannot. CANNOT. CANNOT. CANNOT. China is getting fucked on the deal. choose UCLA or cal poly. UCSD is not great. Over-study with shitty professors 50%. 19/20 are embittered ece/cse. what it is, it's why everyone is nice, it's a common feeling of letdown, or an us vs. them atitude. UCSD want $$$ from CHINA, not people that can teach, NO MONEY IN SETTING UP A SYSTEM OF TEACHING. IM 40/60 pos/neg. UCSD ECE/CSE what you will feel 20 units deep in transferring. You like all your Chinese classmates, but you fucking hate that 60% of the professors were hired for research just to catch the fish net of Chinese MONEY. The Chinese students feel the same, everyone looks around wide-eyed-with a WTF, really, how disappointing attitude.

Going to graduate school was a positive decision for me. I enjoyed the coursework, the presentations, the fellow students, and the professors. And since my company reimbursed 100% of the tuition, the only cost that I had to pay on my own was for books and supplies. Otherwise, I received a free master’s degree. The worst part of it was that the software only worked intermittently and the data was not accurate. You obviously canot confront anyone about what you have discovered if the information is not right.Aanleg zwembad
