THIS IS THE WORST SCHOOL EVER. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF AND DON'T COME HERE.

It's full of Nazarenes who are arrogant assholes. They only accept people of their own denomination, so don't expect to be treated well if you're any other form of Christianity. And students and professors will pretty much throw their Bible at you if you don't declare a religion at all.

The full-time professors are actually pretty good. The part-time/adjunct/"visiting professors"are so bad though. ENC hires them because they're cheap even though they don't have ANY teaching experience. So gen ed classes, that can be tough b/c they're typically outside of a person's major, are even harder because they're being taught by someone who is unqualified to teach.

Student life: THERE'S NOTHING TO DO. On campus, there's occasionally a sporting event during the week or weekend, but for the most part, there's nothing happening. When there are events happening, they're awful. The student government organization spends money and crap events that no one goes it (harry potter movie [they just showed a random one], yoga in a dorm lounge, etc.) But if it's your thing, you can pretty much find a bible study every damn night.

Festival of Life: As if ENC wasn't shitty enough, they made it worse for a weekend, but it'll be the most hellish weekend of the semester. The school thinks it's a good idea to import 500+ Nazarene kids onto our already small campus. There's no room for them anywhere, and they impede on student life. Dining services gives students 1 hour to eat lunch (you're screwed if it happens when you're in class), and the FOL ass holes 2 hours. They said students are allowed to eat when FOL is there, but 1. we can't get in b/c it's too crowded. and 2. They don't have the entire lunch selection out so we have to eat from a limited menu. The kids that ruin campus further are loud, pompous, and inconsiderate jerks. If the people who come for festival of life are what it's like to be Nazarene, I don't know why anyone would want to be.

Parking: not enough parking on campus. So when it snows, everyone is fighting for a spot in one parking lot. Security also doesn't ticket people without a parking pass for parking in that single parking lot, so those of us who do have one, don't have a space.

Dorms: they're so crappy, old, and poorly maintained. Want the leaking ceiling to get fixed? Too bad. Want the ancient pipes to stop banging so loudly so you can get some sleep? Maintenance is too busy. Want some heat in your room during a Boston Blizzard? Not in the budget. Working washers/dryers? Not here. How about all of the broken windows in the academic buildings? They can wait.

Cafeteria: it's small and doesn't put out good food. ENC advertises "7 to 7 dining." That's great if all you like to eat is cereal and bagels. The caf puts out food on the "hot bar" three times a day, but they also take it away before rotating with the next meal, which doesn't make any sense to me. Why don't they keep it out so kids eat the food rather than throwing it away just because they wanted to put it away early? Don't let their pitch about the cafeteria being open 12 hours a day and being a buffet entice you to come here. Food for college students is way too important. Save yourself, your stomach, and you meal plan and go elsewhere.

In conclusion: as you can tell, I'm pretty bitter about this shitty school. Please don't come here and show the ENC community that they need to shape up and fix a lot of things. They charge way too much to treat students poorly. Really though, you'll be sorry if you come here.
