The school is underfunded and the administration is clueless. Prof leave the school every semester because the pay is so bad and as a result students can never develop the relationships needed to land a job. To make matters worse the administration doesn't turn on the AC during the summer except on the third floor of Namm building (This is where the administration is). This means that classrooms can reach temperatures up to 130F. The hot temperatures also means that the computers get fried from the heat and refuse to turn on, students faint in the hallway from the heat and no one can study. No matter how much the profs and students complain they refuse to cool the buildings. Than the financial aid office gets names mixed up so you dont get money and someone else gets it instead. Profs in this school also arent very good. If you have a common name like Mohammed, or Tom etc, expect them to give you someone else's grade. This means that if you got an A in the class, you might get a B instead because you have the same name as a student with a B. Other issues this school has is that the bathrooms, especially the ones in the Vorhess building (Engineering dept) dont have working bathrooms. You have to walk two blocks to the nearest bathroom in midway building. Also the building has one elevator that works out of 4 so expect lines to use it. Last year the school lunch room was shut down by the city for having way to many rats and roaches and the food there is awful and over priced. $5 for pizza is ridiculous, especially since it will probably have a dead roach on it. That being said the school's starbucks cafeteria (Operated by Starbucks and not the school) is very clean and the food while expensive is at least roach free. Finally sometimes the ceiling falls down, you will have to avoid those. Anywhere you see water falling, chances are you should get ready to dodge the ceiling because it will fall.

Now for the positives of the school. The professional development center (PDC) is amazing. They work hard to make sure you have a job by the time you graduate. I ended up with Goldman Sach's IT department and am making $64k start with benefits. Other goods things about the school is that its located only minutes from the Brooklyn bridge and Manhattan. The view is great and its a fun spot to hang out with friends.

In conclusion, this is probably the worst Senior CUNY school, if not the worst CUNY school, but the PDC is a great bonus.
