Having already attended other graduate programs I was utterly shocked at the poor quality of students' work, professors' expertise, and the method of instruction. This school's "scholarships" are really grants (i.e., they are awarded on the basis of financial need and not academic prowess). The "admissions" department is more of a marketing department and admission "advisors" are really salespeople. Many instructors are Master's level degree holders who are also students at the school. Many of the actual PhDs come from the same handful of academic institutions. There is a good reason many of this school's programs do not require GREs and references, like bona fide academic institutions—which would be fine, if all one wanted was a degree (vs an entry to a rewarding career in psychology and related fields). While this school recently settle lawsuits there is still several points of concern: the "Chicago" school has shifted accreditation from the Midwest to the west coast. The school has opened new branches, flooding the market with even more degree holders.

Due diligence is the order of the day before one spends a dime at this institution. Caveat emptor.
