TRAP WARNING! The only real problem with Bishops is the lack of graduate and post graduate programs. Basically, they say it's a teaching university, which sounds really nice because the teachers don't do research and are 100% dedicated to their students, but that's a HUGE TRAP! There are no research opportunities since teachers don't do research (mine do so on sabbatical…)and that may seem small, but when I compare my education and experience to friends in other universities that participated in actual stimulating research, the kind used in public policy and hotly debated in parliament, I really, really feel like I was robbed by Bishop's. They should warn people that they will be missing out SO MUCH of real world academia. Disregard all other comments complaining about other things, this is the only reason you need to STEER CLEAR FROM BISHOPS UNIVERSITY, unless you just want to party and learn a thing or two.Positives: It's a beautiful 18th century campus located in a rural area with really friendly people and faculty open to all kinds of ideas and debates. There's a golf course and extensive sports and arts infrastructure. I mean it sounds and is really awesome if you disregard the lack of true academic opportunity.
