You're reading this because you are trying to get a handle on whether you want to go to Reed, right? Don't decide this way - its russian roulette. You have to come and visit and get an inkling of an idea about whether this is someplace you would like to be for the next for years, because there is NO WAY to know it ahead of time. I didn't have a chance to visit, and it worked out for me, but it might not have, and $30000 is a lot of money to spend if you're not sure. Unless, of course, you have loads of aid. :)PS: Don't come here if you're looking for parties that you would like to attend more than once a month. And while there are a lot of hippies here, if you're looking to change the world, man, you won't satisfy that urge here.PPS: Don't be christian. If you are…no, just don't be christian, it will save you needless stress here. Or you could not come here. You might prefer that option. PPPS: In other words, for all its "liberal-openmindedness", sometimes an idea/group/movement will just be shut down by the student body if it doesn't fit with a certian punk rock status quo. That may sound really weird to you, but again, it's best to visit. Oh yeah, theres a shitload of work.
