If at all possible- steer far away from the nursing program at MC. If you are perceived as someone having higher intelligence than the administrators or those who think of themselves as administrators, you will be hunted down and weeded out. There are so-called professors (pseudo- coordinators) that can't stand it when they are not the smartest people in the room and they will bully you right out of the program. Some of the "professors" add letters to the end of their name that are usually reserved for certain individuals that have earned the right to use them. For example, my last professor had the nerve to put PhD after her name. I'm sure it is a title that she borrowed money to pay for (Capella University: mail-ordered PhD)but it is a title she clearly did NOT earn. For me, when she opens her mouth to speak, she immediately cheapens the title for anyone else who earned the prestige that should come with such a title. Especially someone who dare call themselves an educator. Shame on you MC for allowing such undereducated idiots to down-grade the program's former decent reputation. I'll have to do a better job and get the word out there. Especially since you were just granted a bunch of money.
