 | Quite Bright | I don't want to be completely negative when expressing myself about this school, but my experience here was not a good one. The students were not very friendly or approachable. The buildings look the same way since the school was probably first built. The faculty is nice and make you feel quite welcome. The coursework was not very challenging. In my english class we were learning about the parts of speech the whole semester. I'm not kidding. I mean I really wouldn't recommend this school to anyone. There aren't that many ways to get involved unless you join SGA or become greek. That's all that goes on at their parties. The greeks stroll or people dont come to the parties at all. The library has maybe 10 computers and people will sit on facebook and twitter all day and thats very inconvenient. AND THE RULES, I almost forgot the rules. You get a ticket for parking backwards, wrinkled clothes, I mean the rules are ridiculous. I could go on and on about this school. It's really just sad. | Perceived Campus Safety: A+, Collaboration/Competitive: F | | | |

| | | This school was horrible. The campus was dirty the classrooms were outdated and old, and not to mention the professors looked unprofessional.I hated the whole experience. Coming from florida, this school was trash in comparison. My community college at home is way better. I would never recommend this school to anyones else. And not to mention they never pick up the phones when you call.I rate the school an F and I won't be surprised when they get shut down. | Preparedness: -, Reputation: - | | | |

| | Average | My experiences were bitter/sweet. Because I was a White student on an all black campus in the mid 70's it was difficult for me to concentrate the way I wanted on my education because I was dealing with a great deal of racism. The other side of the coin was, I felt I got an excellent education that prepared me to continue on with my goals and the experience built character and made me who I am today. I went on years later to pursue my Master's and now work in Corporate America doing well. I have maintained friendships that have lasted a lifetime, however, if I had to do it all over again, I probably would have transferred to the University after my freshman year only because of the racial differences. It was like every year, I had to break in a freshman class and get them use to me being there. I participated in many of the things that college students do; cheerleading, dance, campus newspaper, queen courts, etc. but wasn't accepted by everyone, it was rough. But I go back and visit and still see some of the same administration that was there when I was a student and they always make me feel welcome. College is what you make it; you get out of it, what you put into it. | Faculty Accessibility: A+, Social Life: D | | | |
