Positive Negative Neutral Advice
APU is above & beyond, in my opinion,Philosophy
APU is above & beyond, in my opinion, THE premier Christian university in the country. Beyond the transformational spiritual environment, it's TRULY a place of higher learning and achieved excellence in scholarship. From hands on undergraduate research to personalized attention from professors, there's no better place to learn and live. Some other schools, especially the other Christian schools in SoCal, may tell you some negative stuff about APU... I certainly heard some things when I visited other campuses... but it's just gotta be out of spite. APU is the largest and most successful school of it's kind. You truly have to step foot on this campus, meet the student body, and experience this place for yourself.

Question
APU's a good school.Business - Management and Administration
APU's a good school. I got my MBA there and though there were some slackers and somewhat dim students in my classes, my classmates were generally bright. Some of the classes aren't real useful however and the professors all grade on a pretty serious curve as the school is motivated by money for the most part and can't afford to anger its students.

I transferred from the University of Phoenix and it's a lot better than that joke of a school, but I can't imagine it compares to other schools such as UCLA or LMU and unfortunately the school isn't well-known outside of the immediate area by non-alumni.Otherwise APU's a good school and if you're looking for the degree from a decent school with a decent reputation in the area, APU is a good choice.

Question
This school is like summer camp.Quite BrightCommunications
This school is like summer camp. There are more stupid rules than at your parents house. The visitation hours are ridiculous, and much of the time I feel like a child. The school really does a good job of babying you when you get in here. It's all very sugar-coated and nice, but I wonder how anyone from here survives once they are out of the APU bubble.
