APU has been a great experience so farQuite BrightEconomics
APU has been a great experience so far for me. I got into more competitive schools, but APU just felt right. I have not been disappointed. The faculty at APU love to meet with students outside of class and discuss anything from careers to globalization to theology. If you decide to come to APU, take advantage of the study abroad opportunities. You can go pretty much anywhere in the world, and many programs that APU offers have the same cost as being on main campus. The High Sierra, Oxford, South Africa, and L.A. term programs are the most popular, and almost all of my friends and I have studied abroad twice. If you want to wrestle with the hardest questions, discover who you are, and make thoughtful and loving friends, you can. If you want to be closed-minded, stay the same, and have nothing more than shallow relationships, that is possible too. APU is certainly not for everyone, but if you are considering it, visit the campus. It is the best way to know if it is right for you.

Question
Making the decision to come to this UniversityQuite BrightPerfomance Arts
Making the decision to come to this University was the worst decision that I have made in my life. Not only is it extremely overpriced for what you are getting, the staff and administration are often rude and incompetent. It takes days for professors and administration to get back with you (if they even do). Many of the people in public service areas (eateries around campus etc) are rude. If you choose to go to this school, keep records of absolutely everything, and never believe the first person who tells you something (whether it's at the Tech office, Financial Aid, or anywhere else administrative).

Question
Azusa Pacific is a fine school.Quite BrightOther
Azusa Pacific is a fine school. It is a Christian University, so prepare yourself for what is ahead. I am not Christian, but it does not really bother me.. it would, if this was a public school, but it is not. I am a transfer student in the Liberal Studies program and all the coursework was pretty easy, the teachers are nice and approachable and I never got a "covert-or-die" attitude. Social life, well, this is college.. I'm here to learn, get a grade and a degree. I must admit APU was not my first choice (it is my first choice for the MEd program, so I am staying here) I really wanted to go to CalPolyPomona, but with all the budget cuts I chose APU instead, I pay extra for the convenience.
