This school has the worst educators.Quite BrightOther
This school has the worst educators. the issues that this school has is teachers that are incompetent. the teachers lack the skills needed for the students. they don't teach us, instead they put on videos all day when we really need hands on training. we do theory in the morning but after ten thirty we don't do any procedures that state board requires; or the lessons we study for the day. they just sign are procedure sheets even if we haven't completed the days lesson. there is also an apparent favoritism in the class. some students will leave and not come back until its time to clock out and go home. also they only give clients to the students they like. teachers are always threating the students with statements like "if you don't like it here you don't have to be here. go somewhere else." but we already signed a contract. they never treated us bad like this at the beginning of our program. now that we have invested are time in money into this school they don't teach us and also treat us like we don't matter. other statements made are "that bellus is very known around san diego and los angeles. they say that all the salons call them before they hire anyone that came from there school and there is no reason to hold that over our heads. the teachers are unapproachable and not welcoming at all. students have to rely on each other to learn. if thats the case why do we need teachers at all. they bring in a laptop each class we go through and have us feel out a anonymous questionaire, but the crazy part is the teachers will stand over our shoulders the whole time looking at what we type in. when inquiring about a subject in class we get no anwsers and when we demand an anwser their response is to send us home. which is a waste of our time learning and our money. we invest so much in this school and instead of the teachers helping us to become better they walk around all day doing nothing telling us to focus on cleaning incase state board walks in. students such as myself have already complained to the director about the issues we are facing. these teachers where students at this school before they start working here. they havent been in the industry for even a year. the teachers arent able to teach us stuff that they don't have any experince in. i don't understand why the director doesn't reconize that these teachers they have hired are not doing a great job. the y all went to school together, and they are all bringing each other into the school, but it doesnt help us any, because the teachers are horrible. do not waste your time and money. just because it looks good on the outside doesnt mean it's good on the inside. if you do decide to go to this school i know you will be on yelp pretty son complaining also.
