Salida campus...ALL ABOUT TAKING YOUR MONEY. Students know more than teachers. Constant turnover in staff makes learning environment extremely hard. A complete scam. Any problems addressed to the dean you become the problem. Unbelievable how this place is WASC accredited.

Recommended: I Don't Know Where to Start (General College Advice)
I attended and completed my certification at SJVC for medical assisting last month. I was going to keep going for my associates in medical assisting but after I did some research I found out that medical assisting does not pay as much as I would like so I choose to start classes at another college for healthcare mgmt and some of my credits can transfer from SJVC which I am happy about. Overall my experience was pretty good not the best school but not the worst either. They are currently trying to help me find a job but so far I have not had any luck. I believe SJVC is a goo school to get your foot in the door to bigger better things so overall it was not that bad.

Im a Student at SJVC for the MA program and I LOVE IT. SJVC is the best school I can think of. I personally think people say bad things about the school because they didnt finsh thats not the schools fault thats yours for not finshing and accomplishing your goals I only have 3 weeks left to finsh. Im so HAPPY. My Instructor not teacher theres a differents. My Instructors are the best they know there materials. They make sure you understand everything. I have been on the PERFECT ATTEND and DEANS LISt since I have started. I love the school and if they do call to find out why you didnt go to school is not because they get paid more. Its because they care and they want to make sure you are okay. SJVC is a FAST PACE SCHOOL so if you cant learn fast and you dont go to school for any reason they SJVC isnt your school look into PUBLIC College Like MJC..... SJVC IS THE BEST. AND ITS BETTER THAN ANY COLLEGES. THANK YOU....

“Waste of money and Time at the Fresno location. Teachers are worthless!
To all of you out there feeling robbed by this company I feel your pain have had student loan for 7 years and cannot pay for the crap education I got from them. I have not ever be able to find work in my field and if i did get interview they would say not enough experience they make you believe that paying all of that money you will make tons but WRONG!!!! I have been a hairdresser for 18 years and make more money doing that and paid less for the education.
The RN program needs a whole over all, starting with the instructors. And the Director. If not it will continue to suffur. Your life will be a absoulute nightmare. You will not even really look at nursing in a positive manner any more as you will see things that will make you think twice about wanting to be a RN. You will study something then will forget it because you don't have the time to absorb it. But everything will be pointed at you as being the one responsible. After I saw almost everyone failing I came to the conclusion it wasn't us but the program. And who ever set up the program has no idea what they are doing. You will end up spending several hundreds of dollars on additional books, etc to teach yourself, additional to the 50,000 you will spend. They are not even sure anyone can pass the boards yet. The program also changes all the time. I talk to students in other programs and wish every day I had gone to some where else.
