SHU is an excellent university for motivated studentsQuite BrightPreLaw and Legal
SHU is an excellent university for motivated students who want engaged learning with dedicated professors in a nice Fairfield, CT location...close enough to the city, Boston, etc. and the Fairfield Beach and town are 5-10 minutes away - the SHU shuttle takes you all around for free. As a pre-law student, I love it here - the core curriculum course that the prior post is referring to are required and are only 12 credits, all of which have transferred as electives to other colleges, if needed. Many private institutions have the same practice and belief in a core curriculum as an enhancement to learning - and it has been VERY beneficial to my eduation thus far! The rest of the program and coursework is defined by your individual major - SHU has a fantastic business school, nursing and education departments, athletic training is top notch, pre law experience has been great...SHU is rated a top university in Princeton Review and other respected sources - visit, talk to the students here - it's a great place offering an excellent education and alumni connections!
