I'm an Aeronautical Science student, and will beQuite BrightOther
I'm an Aeronautical Science student, and will be graduating in a few weeks. I feel that the course that are part of the Aero Sci core were for mostly excellent. However, the general education courses are not too strong, and I feel to some extent that I've been trained rather than educated. My biggest complaint is that the Embry-Riddle flight line is expensive, inefficient, unconcerned with individuals, elitist, bogged down by bureaucratic nonsense, etc. If you can, learn to fly off-campus, perhaps by doing the Aeronautical Studies area of concentration, which would allow you to take the good aviation courses without having to fly on-campus.

Question
Number one in AE.Quite BrightAerospace Engineering
Number one in AE...but only in a very select group. If you want to learn or ever graduate this is not the place. Hardly any of the teachers know how to teach, and most don't care. The school is profit based, that is to say that they will bleed you dry of money without a care for you're well being. If you want to be an engineer go somewhere else. If you enjoy punishing yourself and getting screwed every which way, then this is the place for you.

Question
Don't get me wrong,Quite BrightAerospace Engineering
Don't get me wrong, the academics are good, but there's nothing to do here but sit in your room and study. There is also the utter lack of women here, 10 guys for every one girl, the odds are not good, guys. If you're used to not having a life, this school is for you, otherwise, go to Purdue.
