Question
Georgia Tech is a great school academically.Quite BrightIndustrial Operations Engineering
Georgia Tech is a great school academically. The social life is very much focused around the Greek System. There is always something to do if your in a Fraternity or Sorority and Atlanta is a great town to party in. The ratio is not as bad as it seems and there are plenty of cute girls on campus. The best thing about Georgia Tech is talking to all the rich Alumni that love Tech and still attend all the football games. Tech has the #1 Alumni Giving Rate in the nation for all public schools. That says alot about how much Alumni valued their education and experience at Georgia Tech.

Question
Ah, Georgia Tech.Super BrilliantAerospace Engineering
Ah, Georgia Tech. How shall I speak of thee?
GT itself: a school of intense, super extreme learning with 0.5 percent handholding -- the 0.1 government mandated + 0.4 recent changes.

The GT Dilemma --- s
Dilemma 1: students complain about the huge workload.
Truth/False? : TRUE
Justified: No.
Reason: Georgia Tech is the MIT of the South. Therefore, expect to get a kick the pants at least three times in any major/class. Yes, the work is tough, long, and arduous. You are free to complain; however, if you aren't willing to spend the weekends*48*4-5years simply studying in any subject, then yes, don't come to Georgia Tech. You waste your time; the university's; and other students'.

Dilemma 2: University policy is far worse than the Reagan years.
True/False: TRUE
Justified: YES
Reason: unfortunately, GaTech is located in GA, not the most enterprising state in the Union. change is often slow. but it comes. tutor services are poor. you often have to compete with classmtes. the downside: no help. upside: if you survive, you learn independence and responsibility like no other.

Dilemma 3: it ain't no MIT.
TRUE/FALSE : in the middle
Justified: somewhat reason: if you come in and grudge through all the BS and work, then you'll be revered and get all the scholarships -- Truman, Marshall, Rhodes (well, can't accept all 3), NSF funding, etc. if you come in and more or less do well, you'll earn lots of money. if you come in and don't do anything, then please, remove yourself from the institution because you're wasting resources.
