WSU is for students who are ONLY concernedNot so bright
WSU is for students who are ONLY concerned about their academics. If you don't live close to or on campus, in the dorms/apts, then its going to be an aggravation to travel back and forth to class. The students are friendly and some of the staff are friendly depending on the department. I think Wichita State is for people who have come back home after transferring from another university and/or to gain credit and eventually transfer to another university. There is nothing to do in Wichita. Wichita is boring and some people go out of town for the weekends. If any person is considering this school understand this is no K-State or University of Kansas. Wichita is not a college town.

Don't go here forQuite BrightComputer Science
Don't go here for Computer Science. They are still in the dark ages. The major language they teach is C (C isn't bad, just old). They don't even have classes on C#. You'll never program using a GUI.

Question
Wichita State can be a great school orNot so brightChemistry
Wichita State can be a great school or not. If you lock yourself in your dorm, don't get involved and stay closed off, you are going to hate it here. However, if you put yourself out there, meet people and get involved, you could enjoy it. Just remember, you are going to school in the Midwest. So be prepared for Midwest types of people and Midwest types of cities; Both aren't the most exciting to be around. Outside of that, this is a nice place to go to school if you make the most out of it.
