Positive Negative Neutral Advice
I have read tons of comments about thisAverageBiology
I have read tons of comments about this school. I received a scholarship in the 6th grade to go here for 2 yrs for free, this is why i went.

ADVISE:
1. Great school coming out of HS and taking basic courses that transfer to universities.
2. MAKE A PLAN!
3. Follow the MARCO program (transfer credits that transfer to Michigan colleges!
4. DONT take bullshit like fitness, yoga, ext. just to take it easy the first semester like the advisors want you too-ITS A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!

5. Pick a major, get your general associates, or some type of associates (of bio, of chem, of art, w.e.)

6. Dont take classes just to take them, 2yrs goes by QUICK! All your friends will be graduating before you if you do this.

7. Pick 2 regular advisor to see-most treat you like a number and give you bad advise so see two bc they do fuck you over sometimes! Do your research and have specific questions to ask them!!!

8. MASTERING CHEMISTRY SUCKS!!! (takes forever to punch in the equations and is required so just do it and get over it bc it does help your grade a lot.

SOCIAL LIFE:
1. Lmao students here are either weird, annoying, lame, or normal but not there to make friends.
2. Make friends at MSU, everyone here attends class and gets out of there ASAP. I wouldn't call it stuck up though

3. OLD PPL!!! Yikes, you will have them in every fucking class. The thing is they are the most annoying, forever asking dumb ass question, trying to befriend the professors, and slows down the class.

4. Math classes are filled with dumbasses that ask question that are common sense:

Instructor- "The answer to problem number six is 2x +4x=6x"
Stupid ass student: "Will i still get credit if i write it as 4x+2x+6x???"
-_______________________- ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!???!?!?? LBS (dont believe me-just watch!)
5. Where u sit the 1st and 2nd day is basically your "assigned seat" according to the students lol they hate when u sit in there seat. JS

INSTRUCTORS:
1. Instructors always do introduction crap to "get to know you" and you getting to know your classmates smh

2. Most instructors use power points, read right from them, not very creative.
3. Sometimes you dont need the book and sometimes you really do-try finding online books, wayyyy cheaper.

4.They are pretty good about helping you-after class, before, and office hours.
5. ask about instructors, some are horrible! ppl will tell you-go to the arc (friendly environment)
6. Keep track of tour grade! the screw things up a lot
7. Do ALLL assignments even if they are pointless-those points put you between a 2.5 or 4.0
8.Go to class-even tho you think it may be stupid...instructors are less likely to help you when you are late, dont show up, and have poor grades. They even tend to be more lenient to those who try and seek help

CAMPUS
1. NICE, the remodeled the science wing and i think they are doing more. Very nice in the summer with plants and flowers!
