Positive Negative Neutral Advice
I had a 4.0 at LCC.BrightUndecided
I had a 4.0 at LCC. I was a very goof student. I never got in trouble during highschool.
I was very stressed out before summer classes. I kept emailing a book seller who was known for scamming people and not sending books. I said where the **** is my book. He responded to that email, but none of my previois nice ones. I said thank you at the end of our conversation. He went back and said I needed an attitude adjustment and tagged me in an email with another person through my personal email, nlt my school email. I didn't even know he had my personal email. I called the person a ***** and told them to come adjust my attitude. Turns out it was a different person. I got reported for 'threatening' someone.

I was interviewed by an mexican and white woman I never met. Like I said before, I never had any negative experiences or problems with my professors or classnates.

The Mexican woman looked like she was gonna cry and seriously offended over an email that happened a month ago. The white woman was hotheaded and had a disgusting month on her. They basically trying to gang up on me, push my buttons, and force me to say sorry. I said no because it was my personal email. Both of the emails could have been taken as a threat.

The mexican woman was luke, we as woc. It angered me because African American and Mexican women do not have the same struggles. The white woman was like, people say mean things to me all the time. She was trying to sayI had thin skin and started bullying and verbally becoming aggressive. Obviously, I didn't care what some hot headed woman had to say. I already didn't like the mexican woman trying tl use the WOC card to get me to say sorry.

The white lady was like, you're aggressive. Not true. I worked as a CNA, plumber, etc. I never had any problems at school or work. These two women were trying to gang up on me and throw subtle shade to provoke me.

The white lady ended up lying aboyt mailing papers. I genuinely think they were trying to get me kicked out of LCC because I had a 4.0 gpa.

When I told her I'd be going to trade school, she turned red. I got my fasfa desputed because they were harassing me the whole semester trying to get me suspended over an email that was months old and tried to make me pay.

Question
My first year I sign up for aBrightPublic Health
My first year I sign up for a teacher that teaches math 107, and is at the same time getting engaged, teaching an hour away at a different high school, then comes to lcc to teach. Teacher was late almost everyday 10-20 minutes struggled to keep up ahead of herself and gave almost 50 problems of homework a night. There was constant problems with students including myself at the end of the class many failed including myself and what a surprise she gets fired the next semester. $750 dollars I had to pay for a class that failed me! I tried i know its college not high school anymore. Many other teachers at this college are absolutely horrible and nothing bugs me more when people say "oh their like that at every college". Its un real that you NEED to use rate my professor just to get a good enough teacher to pass a simple class. Only at lcc is a class full 4 months before it starts because Lcc hires teachers off the street so out of 10-15 teachers for each subject theres 2 or 3 that actually have good ratings. Ive wasted 3 classes almost $2000 at this junior college. They act like a division one school like U of M or Alamaba with their expectations but the need to remember their place. I would NOT suggest this school I will take a few more classes to raise my GPA then I am transferring. You can do good at this school and many people have, but this school is way behind on its staff. My anatomy class had 30 kids, 2nd day had 15, every exam was under a 60% everyone complains yet, because he has his Ph.d they keep him regardless of what ALL the students say..smh. Waste of time and LOTS of $$$$! stay away or prepare to sign up for the one good teacher they have months before it starts! people don't go to Community colleges because their loaded with money LCC remember that.

Question
I had contacted this school way back inNot so brightDesign Arts - Industrial Design/Graphic Design/etc
I had contacted this school way back in early October about taking a course in fashion during the spring semester. I was referred to contact a lady named Christine and given a phone number which appeared to be her cell phone number and left no less than six phone messages asking that she contact me as I desired to take a course and obtain information about courses and never received a return call. I later contacted admissions on several occasions and they also tried to contact the fashion dept. but nobody ever answered the phone. What amazes me most is that I had less trouble getting into Harvard University than trying to get the courtesy of a return call. For literally three months I could not get hold of anyone who could assist me. Finally I contacted the president's office and felt my issue was just dismissed. This is one of the most poorly ran and managed academic institutions I have ever seen in my 50 years of life.
