AVOID WALSH AT ALL COSTS!
1) This school is desperate for new students. On the first day of orientation they were trolling us for new recruits by asking if we knew anybody who would like to enroll. Seriously, we had just arrived and we are being solicited to find new students. I have seen someone from the school posting in online forums trying to recruit; how sad.

2) The syllabi are all wrong and can just be thrown away. Not one teacher has followed it word for word, yet they are all so quick to give the easy answer "refer to the syllabus' when you have an administrative question.

3)The GRADING IS UNFAIR. I have all A's so I'm not complaining about my grades, rather I'm complaining about the grades others receive. I've seen students average less than a C- on tests and escape with a passing grade and in extreme cases a B+. I'm excited to compete for the same jobs as these people in the future!

4) No Staff member can "hustle" and get things accomplished or get you the answer you need. I always have to be the one to bridge all the gaps and contact 10 people to get accomplished what I need. I often get the wrong answer from 3 people..

5) I know for a fact that in 2 of my classes people have received unfair grades that do not fall in the distribution portrayed on the syllabus. I know that if someone were to look at the grades and do the math, a few people would not have passed the class. When I tried calling teachers out for this, they turn the other way and claim nothing can be done. I mean I don't try as it is and get A's. I could probably just show up for tests, do ZERO work, never attend lectures and pass these classes. I knew Walsh was just going to be a way to bide my time while I acquire more experience, but I never thought the experience would be so awful.

Avoid this program. The people who run it are disconnected from reality. When the chair person of the program waits until week ten to grade the majority of an excessive workload, that should be a good clue that these people just don't get it. Don' waste your time writing comments at the end of the term about the classes which have not been updated since new. When you log in to an online class and the dates are years old, that is lazy and it's another good example of how nobody is held accountable. Other programs offer similar courses without the garbage the students are forced to deal with. There are some very good instructors however they are the exception rather than the norm.
