After high school I attended the U of M for a year then transfered to the Art Institutes International Minnesota. Overall I'm very satisfied with the education I received.

The instructors in the animation department are the best instructors anyone could hope for. Un-fortunatly thats all the school has going for it.
The instructors in other majors are conceded and ignorant. The student population is incredibly over crowded due to a completley worthless admissions department.
The financial services think FASFA is a playstation game.
Don't waste your time unless you want to spend 60k to be told that their is no lab room because 500 more students whrer just admitted.
unless you are a serious animation student this school is not for you.

I am in my fourth year pursuing my Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design. I have enjoyed my time at this school, mostly because the small class sizes and student to teacher relationships are ideal for me. I am leaving this school with a strong portfolio of design work and am confident about my future.
The best part about this school is the high class of instructors, they truly are the best in the business. The worst thing is that some of the other students are not very inspired and quite frankly not very talented, yet no one seems to be crude enough to let them know they're wasting their money.I would recommend The Art Institutes to any student who is willing to devote a lot of time, patience, and passion to their work.
