Metropolitan Community College Area

I am not all the way done with my degree (industrial maintenance) so I don't know if it's going to be worth anything to employers as far as helping getting a job. The school (to my understanding) consults business as to want they want students to learn in terms of job knowledge. So I am hoping it will be worth it. I also can't speak for any other majors. The teacher both part time and full know what there talking about and have real world experience and are helpful. There are some bad ones though but on a whole most are good.

The general class (the degree requires) seem largely a waste of time and money given the job one is likely to get with it. It is true the class on a whole do seem dumb down, at least compared to what they could be. That's good for the classes that are pointless like the general ones but bad for the ones you going to actually needed in real life. Believe me you can pass them with decent grads and still leave without feeling like you learned the material, saying that though that is more up to you then any class or teacher. The school does invest in lab materials to help learning as well as student ads but it is clearly on a budget in doing so.

On a whole I would recommend the school to anyone looking to get a vocational degree in practical jobs nursing, construction or computer. If you are looking to get a B.A though

only use the school for the general classes (credits do transfer to most other colleges around here). That just my opinion though.

The school is also very cheep compared to other schools and that is really iwhat makes it worth the tine and money.
