Recommended: The Purpose of a Higher Education
It says a lot about the priorities of our culture that an "Ivy League" school of education offers bathrooms that don't work, water fountains that dribble tepid water, a tremendously sub-par academic atmosphere, lackluster students, airheaded course content, vapid conversations of the value of diversity in schools and little to no funding for student research. For this environment a student can expect to pay about $50,000/year.

On the whole I found TC to be a fantastic institution staffed by incredible people. While the administrative functions of the school are somewhat lacking, and there is a relative scarcity of non-loan financial aid (something I hear they are working on) the faculty is fantastic and if you are willing to take on some debt, I would say well worth the cost. Granted, I may be biased based on the quality of faculty in my department (Organization & Leadership) and it may well be that in other departments the offerings are not so strong. Incidentally, if you wind up at TC, try to take a class or two in Conflict Resolution from the ICCCR. It was decidedly the best part of an excellent program in my opinion.
