My time here was a very negativeJun 30 2011Other
My time here was a very negative. Graduate students endure much abuse in the MHA program. Students are no match for faculty apathy, infighting, and numerous mistakes on exams. Whenever issues arise, the student's career will always be sacrificed so that the faculty members do not have to confront one another. Due to the tenure system, professors cannot be fired. Students pay the price for this broken system. Students are subjected to being screamed at, verbally abused, and ignored all at the same time. If you can afford to attend college elsewhere, you will likely get a much better education there. Professors here cannot teach worth a flip and are too bothered to be there for students. Studying at OU College of Public Health may just be the biggest that you ever make.
Question
I was in the MHA program at thisJun 29 2011Other
I was in the MHA program at this university and it has to be hands-down the worst one in the country. The faculty is cold and uninterested in their students, and the director is verbally abusive. It was the most draining experience I have ever had in an academic setting and the dean just looks the other way. The abuse you endure in this program is not worth it, just go somewhere else and save yourself the headache.
