“Four years of faking it.Accounting
Four years of faking it. If you are anything (and I stress anything) but a dyed in the wool fundamentalist you will have to be dishonest in who you are and what you believe to survive. I like to think of it as a giant treadmill with everyone running as fast as they can desperately trying to impress each other, the faculty, (and in their convoluted theology) God. Don’t believe the lies about how all the rules make you a better person-they don’t. They simply turn you into a self-righteous Pharisee, looking down your nose at anyone who does not practice their Christianity the BJ way. The best advice you could ever receive (unless you are already a fundamentalist) is-don’t go.

“I was raised by parents with high expectations.Education
I was raised by parents with high expectations. BJU supported and reinforced those values and expectations. I have taken coursework at 6 different colleges/universities since graduating,
and have first-hand knowledge that a college that supports conservative values is the exception rather than the rule.
I appreciate the support and encouragement I received from so many teachers and staff members in my years at BJU. They trulywere exemplary role models, who lived what they taught, day in and day out. I am proud to say that I am a graduate of Bob Jones University.
