Trying to "bring technology" in the classroom as much as possible can be a very big down fall, especially for people who aren't good at math. I dropped the online math class and got into a normal math class thinking that i would be doing things out of a book and that the professor would be very personable and actually care about seeing how her students learned. I sure was wrong! Everything we have done has been through the mymathlab program. The notes are a bunch of definitions and things i don't understand, and the professors leaves no time in the class period for students to ask questions and be involved in the class. nor does this professor ask us if we are understanding, rather she assumes we do understand. i DON'T recommend taking math at this school.

This place is awful. Yeah it is community college but its basically ran like a for profit school without the crazy price gauging. You're a number here and that's it. There's a continual revolving door of advisers that give you incorrect information. Administration constantly loses paperwork. Financial Aid has been delayed at times because disbursement clerk decided to take vacation and no one else in the department wanted to do the extra data entry, even though they were properly trained to. When I called to complain someone finally got off their lazy butt and disbursed financial aid. This place is a joke.
