Saint Michael's wasn't my first choice initially butAverageUndecided
Saint Michael's wasn't my first choice initially but after visiting twice and staying over a weekend in the dorm, I could see myself here. I was right. The kids are all friendly and helpful and the professors are accessible. Some are very strict and the work can be quite challenging but the class discussions are thought provoking and requires active participation. I think I will love it here.

Question
Saint Mike's was honestly not my first choice.BrightPsychology
Saint Mike's was honestly not my first choice. I was looking for schools with more diversity, and more of an urban setting. Somehow I ended up with the complete opposite - Saint Mike's. They offered me a much better scholarship then my other schools. After visiting, I fell in love with the friendly, welcoming community. As August approached I was so nervous! I did not want to go!i thought I made the wrong decision, & that I should just attend a school local to me instead of five hours away. But I went anyway! My first day they help me move in and I made friends instantly. Everyone was so nice! I love it! Classes were very challenging (which is good!) and there is always stuff to do. The parties here are pretty fun & going downtown to Burlington is always a fun time. I have been here for 2 months but I know that I have found my home! I LOVE SMCVT!

Question
I have had a very positive experience myBrightEducation
I have had a very positive experience my freshman year at Saint Mikes, and am looking forward to starting my sophomore year in a couple of weeks. The campus and surrounding area are beautiful and Burlington, which is a great college town, is only a few minutes away. Academics are good, classes are small, and my professors have been very helpful and approachable. I am an Education major and was able to take a course in my major my first year where I got hands-on experience in a middle school classroom which was a great experience. Coming from a suburb of a diverse urban area in the mid-Atlantic region, diversity was important to me. I have a great and diverse group of friends at Saint Michaels; many who are international students. I just completed a summer study abroad program, and although the university wasn't on Saint Mike's list, I was able to get the approvals that I needed to attend. I believe that your college experience is what you make of it. There are lots of things to do on and off campus and ways to get involved. The opportunities at Saint Mikes are available for the taking.
